At least on the fire stick anyway
I was watching a Gunsmoke episode last night and this morning when I turned on the fire stick main menu the episode wasn?t there in my continue
watching bar. So I asked Alexa to show me Gunsmoke and it took me to the Pluto and took me to the episode. So I hit resume and instead of starting
in the middle of the episode it showed me the opening credits (which Pluto sometimes does and then skips to where you left off) and then started playing? Star Trek Deep Space 9.
huh?
Since I was just looking for some background noise anyway I let it play and hit pause when I went to the kitchen and when I came back and hit unpause?
It started playing Gunsmoke.
Pluto has been pulling this crap more and more lately.
It also won?t let you watch for very long without clicking on the annoying pop-up ?are you still watching?? button.
Which half the time changes you to a different show.
Pluto's been in a bad way ever since they downgraded it from being a
planet to just a stray rock. That's probably what's keeping your
firestick from working correctly....
But seriously, I don't understand how services like that can be so
buggy. That kind of nonsense must infuriate every one of its users and
that's just not good for business. The developers need to test the crap
out of things like that before ever putting it on the marketplace and
then do a massive push to fix things if they ever start malfunctioning, otherwise they're going to be dead in the water in very short order.
