"The Pilot" Andy Muschietti who directed the 2017 and 2019 "It" movies, directed the first two episodes of the series. First up, the pilot
opens with a young boy trying to escape Derry, but It has other ideas
about the boy escaping. One thing leads to another and the boy winds up dead in a very gruesome and disturbing way. There's then a time jump of
a few months and the pilot follows a group of young kids who are looking into what happened to their missing friend. Much like the movie they
slowly come together and the realization that they are all being stalked
by "It." The episode ends with the kids all going to watch a movie
where It proceeds to come out of the screen and massacre them. The only survivor is a girl who emerges from the screening room, drenched in the blood of her young friends with the severed arm of one of them still
holding her hand. Roll credits. Well, I guess *those* kids won't be stopping It...
Episodes 2 through 5 follows the girl and several other characters who
are dealing with It. Following the deaths the police decide to railroad
an innocent man for the murders. He gets sent to "Shawshank" for a
while but is eventually released on bail. The surviving girl knows he didn't do it, but keeps her mouth shut for fear she will be sent to a psychiatric hospital if she tells the truth. The accused man's
daughter, the surviving girl, and a couple of other kids become the new
kid leads of the series as they try to stop It.
The series also focuses on the U.S. military, which *knows* It exists.
This was a twist I did not see coming. The highest ranking military
officer survived It when he was a kid, and now he wants to harness the
power to use against the Soviets. A lot of the knowledge comes from a
local Native American tribe that lives nearby and for hundreds of years having been keeping guard and making sure It doesn't escape Derry. Two
of the main military characters the show follows are "Dick Hallorann"
the character from "The Shining" who uses his Shining ability to track
It. And another officer who also has some latent Shining ability, and
his son is part of the kid group fighting It. Although the father and
son have no idea what each is doing or that they are hunting the same monster.
Overall the series is pretty good.

I still have access only to YouTube, so I watched more

I also stumbled over an AI slop channel by accident. More

cracks down on AI channels, which it doesn't seem

So it turns out all you have to do is yell into the air ?I have an injured person I need help? and the emergency spaceship zooms to your location,
which hopefully is near an airlock and they come in and help you. And
there are lots of emergency spaceships. Wouldn?t everybody know about this?
And there?s an astronomy department that not only can fire up the reactors (which we?ve seen were destroyed) but they can fly the arc around for fun

Where are they keeping their outfits? It would be nice if somebody had least had a duffel bag.
And then the finale. OMG. Devon quits the team and wanders off while Garth and Rachel get stuck in an elevator for the entire episode. And don?t even fool around.
Meanwhile, Garth runs right into one of the space police who are all over
and monitor everything and work with other police agencies That they?ve
never met in person and help each other solve each other?s crimes. And they recruit Devon to join them.
And Walter Koenig turns out to be evil (like that?s a surprise) and is sentenced by his home world to be stuck on the Ark and wander around and be evil. And he can start the reactors and fly the Ark around as well. But
even though it means he?s just doomed himself to Solar star death he
doesn?t bother to change the course of the thing.
Supposedly there are three unproduced scripts. But one is just the original pilot by Harlan Ellison. And the other two seem to exist only as titles and rumors.
There was an episode where the Ark model was used in an episode insideIt was a screencapping project for me so I could partially zone out the >>>> stupidity but my defenses were weakening.
I can?t watch it that fast because the burning onion of stupidity is >>>>> stinging my eyes.
Every time they showed the ark, I wanted to screen grab it in case I build >>> a 3-D model of it someday but that?s not ever gonna happen
the Ark. I could get you some screen shots if you want.
That was cool.
