Or we can look at what the real demands are:
https://sbworkersunited.org/our-fight/
It?s time for Starbucks to stop stonewalling its baristas and address
our three remaining core demands:
We demand better hours to improve staffing in our stores.
Understaffing is rampant, leading to longer wait times as customer
orders stream in. Yet too many baristas still aren?t getting enough
hours to pay the bills or meet the threshold for benefits. Starbucks
needs to invest in increasing our hours.
We demand higher take-home pay, so we can pay our bills. Too many
baristas struggle to get by, while executives make millions. Starbucks
needs to put more money toward our take-home pay.
We demand resolution for hundreds of outstanding unfair labor practice charges for union busting. The coffee giant has committed more labor
law violations than any employer in modern history. Starbucks needs to
fully resolve legal issues impacting baristas.

If they aren't careful, Starbucks will invest in AI-driven machines that can make coffee drinks quicker, more efficiently, with less waste, and which can work 24-hours-day, don't need breaks, health care, will never call in sick, and will never demand a paycheck.
They are already such automated kiosks on street corners in L.A.
My local McDonalds recently closed down for two weeks and when it reopened, it
was fully-automated. No one's even cooking the food. It's all done by robot arms and conveyor belts. That's what demanding to be paid $25/hr to shake the fry basket got them: no job at all.
