They're actually not as good as the STAR WARS short fan films that have been flooding YouTube lately, filling in the gaps between the official movies. The voices, the likeness, the movement, the starships and battle effects, all of it, looks very realistic. Not 100%, but it'll be there in the next five years or so. And it's all being done for pennies using publicly available AI packages.

Do they all preach the evils of Russian communism? It seems like
    overkill, in the U.S. anyway.

    Remarkable.ÿ On many fronts.

(I couldn't start on this video as I've only seen the
original trilogy, Episodes 4, 5 and 6; should I watch it?)

I've noticed that almost all, if not all, sensational demonstrations
of the results of "AI" do *not* specify what parameters are used to
get the result. If that was done than anyone else using those same
"a few words of instruction" can duplicate those results for
    themselves, thus verifying it.

Yet, usually the pictures or videos don't even specify which AI
program they are using, much less what their user input is.

Why should it? An artist almost never specifies the tools they used while presenting their art.

I've never seen a painter at an art showing give the audience a rundown on
what specific paints and brushes he used.

A trumpet soloist doesn't announce before or after the performance what brand trumpet and what size mouthpiece was used.

A sculptor doesn't describe the chisels she used to create her piece.

And a conventional filmmaker, even in the end credits, doesn't list all the software tools and SFX techniques that were used to create the film.

But for some reason, a person using an AI tool to create a short film is supposed to specify not only the platform they used but the actual code
prompts they devised to create the piece?

Imagine the software engineering schools for beginners
sharing only the results of coding, but keeping the code
    itself secret;

The YouTube audience for this piece is not a class of students there to learn how to program an AI video generator. The audience is a bunch of STAR WARS
fans there to appreciate (or not) the video the author produced.

that would be hostile to learning, or
teaching people to read a different language or computer
language but keeping the alphabet or instruction set a secret.

Why do you insist that the purpose of projects like the one linked here is to teach anyone anything?

In other words, do you wish to debunk AI or to mystify it?

The audience for this film is not there to do either one. They're there to watch a STAR WARS story.

Not a whole rundown of specific color formulations, but it's common for paintings to be identified as a watercolor or an oil painting or so
forth, and the brushes may also be mentioned if they're unusual.
