Let's take a look at the first images of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft,

Nope, I don't like it.
So far my choice just on the look and feel of the character has been Alicia >Vikander.
She's a bit old to play Lara Croft now, but it's too bad they didn't cast >Rhona Mitra to start with, since she was the original physical inspiration for >the video game character.

Okay, I'll ask why? I've seen other people say they didn't like Sophie
Turner as a choice but no one explains just what is wrong with her in
the role.

Yeah, Rhona would have been great. She has the look and the presence
to have been believable in the role.

Well, for me, I've just never much cared for the actress in the first place.
And that impression wasn't helped when I'd see clips of her off screen and >she
came across as arrogant and full of herself.
