I saw this over on another newsgroup and don't recall it being posted
here but Discovery is putting all of the episodes of Babylon 5 up on
Youtube for anyone to watch for free.

So you can start here with The Gathering, Season 1, Episode 1
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=Y235YEQstLo

Not recommended for Anim8r but for everyone else give it a try as it's
    a great series.

    Is it in glorious 4k?...

720x480i (they use the exact same video equipment we did but much poorer computer equipment)

Anything above that is a recreation

Like the low end video game graphics on Star Trek remastered

    If not, I'm OUT!! ;p

Also note that they are hard cropping much of it down to 16:9 although the
live action shots not involving VFX work were on film.

    It?s a Frankenstein mess of a reconstruction.

Too true - though my favorite B5 episode was the one where they had
'the Telepath's song' (season 5, episode 6 - the clip is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yECUU16dXuE) at the end of the
episode. The best part was where I think it was Patricia Tallman
    removes her B5 insignia.

Not too many TV shows brought tears to my eyes but that one did
especially as one knew what was about to happen. Even though Byron was
a control freak you just knew what was coming.

Great episode but when it comes to songs in B5 it's pretty tough
to beat Londo Molari's rendition of the hokey-pokey.

Ugh, I hated that season and Bryan was one of the reasons.
