Season 1 hasn't even started yet. Not sure if it's technically a
"remake" or a "reboot" - it really depends how closely they stick to
the original TV series / books and how much Political Correctness
idiocy they try to force in.


Netflix Renews Highly Anticipated TV Show for Season 2,
Sets Release Date for Premiere

Netflix has renewed a highly anticipated TV show for a second
season ahead of its official premiere.

Later this year, the Netflix streaming service will debut the
first season of Little House on the Prairie. Based on Laura
Ingalls Wilder's iconic book series, Little House on the
Prairie comes from showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine and stars
Alice Halsey as Laura Ingalls, Skywalker Hughes as Mary, Luke
Bracey as Pa, and Crosby Fitzgerald as Ma.

What Netflix TV show has been renewed for Season 2?
Netflix has now announced that Little House on the Prairie has
been officially renewed for a second season. A release date
has not yet been set.

The streaming service did, however, announce an official
release date for Little House on the Prairie: July 9, 2026.

The logline for the show reads, "Part hopeful family drama,
part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American
West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder's iconic
semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic
view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the
frontier."

Sonnenshine said in a statement, via Netflix Tudum,
"I'm incredibly grateful to our wonderful cast and crew, who
put their hearts and hard work into making our first season
come alive. We can't wait to share this new adaptation of the
Little House books with the world, and we're thrilled that
Netflix is giving us the opportunity to continue the story."
