I actually watched something significant yesterday - a movie, to kick
off my Spring Break!!
Out of the Blue (YaY!) yesterday, I get an Email from HBO Max announcing >>> that they finally got "Ballerina" (of the John Wick franchise!), a movie >>> I wasn't ever sure would leave Starz! So I queued it up first thing
after I got home from work, to launch my Spring Break!ÿ :D
Ballerina (HBO Max) - I was a little surprised that this plays like a
"one-off" - it doesn't really seem to set up a follow-up film.
That seems to be the way they are building out the Wick universe. The
same was true with the CONTINENTAL mini-series.
Don't defame Ballerina by comparing it to the waste of time known as The Continental.

ÿÿÿ But if they ever do a sequel with Eve, I am sure I would watch it.
Agreed. They manage to make some wonderfully watch able action flicks
in this universe.
Donnie Yen's character, "Cain" is getting a spin off.ÿ If it's as good
as "Ballerina" I'll be happy.
Confirmed!:

What did you watch?
Keeping with the Ballerina theme, the other day I watched, "Pretty
Lethal" on Amazon Prime.ÿ A ballet troupe find themselves in a shady inn
in Hungary, run by an even shadier Uma THurman.ÿ One things leads to
another and the ballerinas are forced to use their dance skills to
survive.ÿ It's a ridiculous movie and no where near as good as
"Ballerina" but if you are in the mood for a turn your brains off
ballerina action flick, and you've already watched "Ballerina" then
"Pretty Lethal" is probably the only other option.
Normally, I would be all over this, but apparently it's a Prime Video
flick, and I don't subscribe to Prime anymore. (Maybe for a month this
summer, but not right now!!)
