    Multi-day catch-up.

    First, on Wednesday I watched:

Chicago Med & Chicago Fire: These were both ripoff episodes, dispensing
with most of the cast to focus on "one character" (to save money!).
"Med" was the less egregious of the two, as while the episode
focused pretty much exclusively on Dr. Charles, at least most of the
rest of the cast showed up in supporting roles. This was like "The Life
Crisis of Dr. Charles" episode, but didn't even sport a cameo from
Rachel DiPillo, so, meh - Charles has a stroke at the end of the
episode, which means he'll be the focus of the next episode too. :|
The "Fire" episode was a ridiculous cost-cutting exercise - the only "main" cast who even showed up in the episode were Severide and Cruz! Literally everyone else in the main cast, even Kidd! didn't show up at
all in this episode. So it was Severide, Cruz, the new Chief, the fake
"Liz Parker" (aka. "Liz Ortega") as the new receptionist, and a couple
of the recurring fireman, and Cruz's wife (Kristen Gutoskie), in the
episode, and that was all! Bah!! Of course, the new chief has a personal grudge against Severide and his dad, so, drama!! >:|

I intended to go to bed after "Fire", as the "Chicago PD" was again
focused around the new guy I don't even like, but I ended up futzing
around with "PD" on in the background, so I ended up making it through
the entire episode, not that I paid any attention.

Earlier (I think it was Monday), I finally got around to watching:

Clown in a Cornfield (Hulu) - Starring the lovely, but unfortunately incredibly tiny, Katie Douglas, I was ultimately disappointed by this,
as it amounts to another tedious Gen Z screed ("How great and tolerant
and progressive are we?! And how awful are the older generations?!!),
and it also wasn't nearly as gory as BTR promised. BTR was also correct
that it is completely absent of any naked nudity (I figured at least the blonde in the opener who get partly naked!!). Anyway, I liked Douglas
and Aaron Abrams in this, but was let down by most of the rest of the
film. (Hint: If Kevin Durand is in the film, you already know who the
    villain is. [sigh...] )
Filmed in the Winnipeg area! you knew this had to be filmed in
Canadia(!), what with Douglas, Abrams, and Carson MacCormac showing up
as the primary cast. Durand and Will Sasso prove to be the American
    imports to the cast here.

soaps: DOOL - EJ volunteers to be Johnny and Chanel's lawyer at the
adoption hearing and manages to thwart Sophia's scheme to sabotage their adoption. Sophia then decides to leave the loony bin on her own, but is
too chicken-s**t to leave town, so her mommy wears Sophia down and gets
to let Sophia live at home, "rules free". Meanwhile, separately Booster
Brady and Holly & Tate figure out that Sophia, not Rachel, is the one
who sabotaged/drugged Holly. And Kate tries to blackmail Johnny and
    DiMera Inc. over's Bonnie's plagiarism.
GH - EVOL! WSB Director Ross Cullum survives getting shot, as
neither Britt nor Josslyn are able to "finish him off". Lulu is in on
the conspiracy to protect Rocco as Cullum's shooter. (Sidenote: So both
Anna *and* Jason are off the show right now?! Both are claimed to return
this summer, but I am a little skeptical...) Meanwhile, Chase goes to Congresswoman(!) Willow to help with his and Brook Lynn's fostering of
the infant in the hospital, and in working on that I think dumb Kai and
Trina revealed to Willow that they were witnesses to her shooting of
Drew - I wonder what Willow will do about that!?!

    What did you watch?
