California pulls out all stops in the race to the bottom!
A state forensics lab distributed urine testing and collection kits to numerous police departments for a decade that were found to be faulty.
The urine collection bags were found to contain an inadequate amount of preservative, an anti-fungal. Without the minimum amount of anti-fungal, yeast grows and causes fermentation, something that humans discovered
many centuries ago but was somehow unknown to the manufacturer. This
means that significantly higher levels of alchohol will be found in the sample by the time it's tested than the the subject could have possibly drunk. Somehow, the state lab never performed its own routine certification tests on the kits, something it's required to do. Somehow, no defense attorney performed independent testing to question inexplicably high
results.

Don't pay attention to any of this and just vote for Gavin Newsom for president. Everything will be fine.
