After getting home and spending the day without cable/Internet, I
watched:
KRAPOPOLIS:
Advanced Family Portraiture". Deliria can't get her family to sit still
for just one nice picture.
AMERICAN DAD:
"Aw Rats, A Pool Party". The Smiths throw a pool party attended by Francine's sister and Steve's ex when a dead rat is found in the pool.
I must check both of those out. Careful with the spoilers, though, dude!
There are multiple Krapopolis watchers here.
FAMILY GUY:
"The Edible Arrangement". Lois and Stewie finally understand each
other -- thanks to Brian's edibles -- and explore and try to explain
their complicated relationship.
It seems like they only spent five minutes with main story and then
pushed the reset button. Also, I'm not sure if that's how those gummies work.
I watched that one, and I thought it was miserable. It was fanservice
for those who wanted to see Lois and Stewie resolve their differences,
and weed gummies definitely do not work that way.
TV never portrays THC accurately, which is odd when pot has
traditionally been so popular in showbiz.
What did you watch?
On Friday I watched a truly excellent Doctor Who episode titled "The
Robots of Death," from the classic Tom Baker era. With Louise Jameson as Leela, the Doctor solves a baffling mystery while also showing the
dangers of technology dependence and examining prejudice from several different angles. I highly recommend that one.
I also realized that I would probably enjoy Silicon Valley, right as my
free HBO MAX benefit ran out. Oh well. Maybe I'll subscribe when I'm a
little more flush, or maybe it'll pop up somewhere I can reach.
On Saturday, I watched only some reruns. I've been rewatching 30 Rock, a
fun show with high rewatchability.
What did everyone else watch?
