Alas too true on Tennyson.
Adam has clearly been doing some reading and frankly if the Canadian
Supreme Court WERE to go into darkness by upholding the provincial
supreme court, it would almost certainly provoke a constitutional
crisis where one or more provinces would see a strong separatist
movement (apart from the not so strong one in Quebec)
At best they would probably order a fixed term stay of the problematic
law to give the provincial government time to amend it - though the
tribes are claiming (likely true given the government who passed this
damned piece of legislation) that they were very much part of the
legislative drafting process in the first place.
