that my fears of it being a spiritual continuation of the ultimately juvenile 'Stranger Things' appear to have been largely unfounded.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, mostly for the actors. I thought Geena Davis's character was great, although Alfre Woodard probably had the best performance. I like Alfred Molina but wish his character had had more
than one look on his face. The basic storyline was evident pretty early,
but that didn't bother me. Thought the ending was a little weak,
probably brought it down from a 7.5 to a 7 for me. Still, I thought it
was a lot of fun.
