    The upcoming revival of Stargate SG1 was just cancelled by Amazon

    Why did it need to 'appeal to a wider audience'? The original audience was robust enough to keep the show on the air for seven years. Seems like in TV world, that's a goldmine.

    Amazon sells ads. "Wider audience" may mean "desirable demographic".
