With $200-million films like SUPERGIRL and DISCLOSURE DAY bombing at the box office, a YouTuber came along and made this movie for something like $700,000 and its current box office tally stands at $403 million. Which goes to show that if you have a creative idea and you have the talent to tell it well, you can put butts in the seats without having to spend the GDP of a small country to do it.

You can imagine where it goes from there. It's a well-worn trope, but this film does it in a creative way and a lot of it is in the acting. The female lead is exceptionally creepy as the results of her friend's wish consume her.

but held up well enough.

by Ludwig G”ransson. Mostly background noise. I really should have
paid closer attention because next thing I know Riri Williams is flying >around in an Iron Man suit and I must have completely missed when she
built (upgraded) it. The movie has one of the best trailers ever, but

I saw this in theater. I liked it a lot, although everything he did that
day was fiction. Jordan was an actor I knew from tv, from the last
season of Friday Night Lights, an athletic but skinny boy. No, let's
claim he's a heavyweight boxer.

This movie rose to the height of adequacy. btw, there is a Chicago
suburb called Wauconda, which had great fun with this movie.

soaps: DOOL - Thur's ep. I think this was the episode where Joy is
clearly playing games (to try to land Alex for herself), and Kayla kind
of calls her on it. Stephanie takes a self-defense class with Tate, and
they commiserate with each other. Holly is still sick. EJ is still
trying to cover up why.
GH - Fri's ep. Well, this is unfortunate - Z shows up on screen and
it's played by... John Oliver. >:/ I have no idea what Oliver is doing slumming it on GH - HBO and ABC aren't even the same corporate parents!
All I can figure is that Oliver must actually be a fan of GH!?! Anyway, Oliver as Z sort of "interrogates" Josslyn - Z claims to Josslyn that Cassius is dead. (I don't believe this for a minute - at most, we won't
see him, but they'll leave it open ended in case Ryan Paevey wants to
come back...) Later, Carly goes to Z to demand that Joss be "released"
from the WSB - can't wait until John Oliver as Z tells her to pound
sand... Meanwhile, Vaughn is back! Some other stuff happened with Britt
