I can remember asking, probably in first grade, which letter of the ones I >> was looking at Was elemeno? But once they explained it to me, it was fine.

I had the same issue with the Pledge of Allegiance. I asked why it was we were
pledging allegiance to some country called Forwhichitstanz and not the United States.

It was the same issue with the original opening credits to All in the
Family. They got so many letters about it that they finally remade the
credits with Archie and Edith finally enunciating better and then I
finally understood that the problem line was "Gee our old LaSalle ran
great". I could NOT make out what they were trying to sing in the
    original version!

And speaking of national anthems, I had a similar experience with God
Save The Queen with a line that sounded like "santerviktoryus", which I finally learned was "Send her Victorious"....

All they have to do to fix these problems is enunciate better and/or
supply captions; it's really not that tough a problem.

This new song, every time they play it, somebody should hit Neil
deGrasshole Tyson in the mouth with a 2 x 4.

Or even if they don't play it. ;-)

Similarly with the intro song to "The Flintstones".

    The incomprehensible lines were:

"let's drive, with the family down the street.
Through the, courtesy of Fred's two feet".

The only... good thing about the otherwise
excrutiatingly bad 1994 movie [a] was you
    could make out the words.

Rightists are always plotting to take things away.

That's why adult consenting women can't have abortions in red states.

It's like they had no rights.

Are you that dishonest or just that stupid?
