I watched Coup!, a movie set back during the Spanish Flu about a
private chef who leads a sort of soft uprising against a wealthy
    family. It was okay.

    I watched:

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+) - "Level Five Transporter
Accident" - The puppet episode! A lighthearted episode where the entire
crew, except for Spock, are turned into Muppets. To make matters worse
the ship comes under attack from Orions. This was basically like the
TNG episode "Rascals" where Picard and others were turned into kids.
All things considered, I think I liked this one more than "Rascals."

Insidious: The Red Door (HBOMax) 2023 sequel that picks up 9 years after
the last movie (this movie is set in 2019) and has the son (Ty Simpkins)
from the first two movies heading off to college. Neither he nor his
father (Patrick Wilson) have any memory of the first two movies thanks
to hypnosis. But on his first day of art class Ty is conveniently
hypnotized using words that coincidentally unlock the demons in his
head. Which also unlocks the demons in his father's head. This was
    just above background noise.

Insidious: Out of the Further (theatrical) Latest entry in the Insidious franchise. This one focuses on a woman named Gemma who has the ability
to bring the demons back from the "Further." The demons with help from
some human cult members target Gemma to force her to bring demons from
the further to the real world. I should mention that Gemma works as a
dental hygienist which leads to some really disturbing scenes involving ghosts/demons set in a dental office. I should also mention Lin Shaye's "Elise" is in this one too. Despite the fact her character died in the
first movie, she has been in every Insidious movie in one way or
another. It sort of reminds me of how "Han" died in the third Fast and Furious movie, then the character proceeded to return for every Fast and Furious movie that came after. Same thing here! I guess it's OK if you
like the "Insidious" movies. My main gripe with the plot is Gemma's
character lived in the family home, which from perspective was *clearly* haunted. Everyone kept telling her to get out of that house. She
stubbornly refused to move, even after she knew for a fact demons were
after her, and her young *daughter* and the best excuse she could give
for staying put was to save the demons would just follow her if she
moved. No!!! First, this ignores the fact that all the demonic stuff
was centered around that house and didn't start until she moved back
into the house. She has no idea if the demons would follow her or not.
And even assuming they would, the demons were being helped by some very
human acolytes, who lived across the street. So *move* and let they try
    to follow!

I was in Hawaii from May 14-20, so I did not watch anything notable or
new, with the exception of the "Surf Channel" which our resort had on
its cable system (they also carried both LMN and Hallmark Movies which I
don't think I have ever seen at almost any other hotel or resort I have
    stayed at!!).

Anyway, the first week the Surf Channel was showing some competition in Tahiti. OK, well that makes sense. But the second week, the event was
from... "Surf City", El Salvador!!?! They surf in El Salvador?!?! I did
not know this! I thought most or all of the Pacific Coast of Central
    America was basically impassible!

But that was about it, besides getting sucked into watching "Top Gun: Maverick" again. ;p

I suddenly remembered I had started a Spanish show called 30 COINS, about the 30 pieces of silver Judas Iscariot received for betraying Christ, which are
now cursed and bring misery and death to anyone who comes into possession of one. I started it almost a year ago and since the HBOMax has the shortest "Continue watching" retention of all the streamers, it fell off and I forgot about it until last night when it suddenly popped back into my memory. So I watched three more episodes of it, and I'm glad I did, because the lead female is quite a looker and she demonstrated her lack of shyness regarding nekkid nudity in the second one I watched.

Hot, curvy Spanish actresses get naked? I didn't think curses worked
    like that.
