  • Dolly Parton has died

    I'm reading on Reddit that Dolly Parton is dead. She was mostly a
    musician and philanthropist, but she did some acting, so I post
    it here.

    Many people adore her for her generosity and class as much as her
    music. She was an exceptional woman who will be missed.

    She was singing in Nashville in the 60s, she was in her 20s then.

    All that pointless cosmetic facelift surgery tends to make people look
    much older (as well as more hideous) than they really are.

    Reportedly she died after a brief battle with cancer, but it didn't say
    which type.

    She did have problems with kidney stones most of her life. Perhaps that
    was a factor.
