Only some reruns. I hit the hay early, after trouble sleeping the
night before. Unfortunately, that only kicks the can forward a
    day.

On Wednesday I did a bit of DVR clearing and watched:

2026 MTV Video Awards - This was pretty much background noise. I had
*no* idea Madonna was still cranking out new music! After winning an
award she mentioned performing on the first MTV Video Award show, before
many in the audience were even born.

Survivor - "Weaponized Honesty" - A word to the producers of "Survivor,"
who I'm sure read this group. If someone gets a thumb chopped off and
spurts blood everywhere, the at home viewer does *not* want to see the
blood soaked beach or the severed digit. And what kind of doctors do
they have on that show anyway? You put the person in a medevac copter
and take them to the hospital to have it reattached (or at least try).
Not slap a bandaid on the stump and give the remains to Jeff as trophy!

I admit to not watching T.V. at all. I didn't even know T.V. stations
played /Dungeons & Dragons/. How does that work? The staff roleplays
and it's aired live on camera?

Have you seen the Icelandic movie Astropia?

The thing you have to remember is unless it's a serious health risk
the players get the choice to stay or leave. That guy clearly DID NOT
want to leave the game. So he got to stay, for now. I don't believe in

It wasn't good but it wasn't that bad. It was the tip of his finger.
Only about no more than a quarter inch. Painful and not something I
would want to go thru but something that still left even that finger
useable. Plus they had the doctor there to properly treat and see that
    it was covered.

If it were a truly serious health issue the player would not get a
choice about removal from the game. They have removed players before
that didn't want to leave but the medical staff felt the issue was too
serious to leave the player in the game.

There are approximately a million of these services, judging by
my Facebook ads. It's cheaper to pay ChatGPT directly and just
    give it D&D instructions.

I am analog for this, though. This is an old-school game, and we
