    Subject: New Stephen King series ? a real gem: Amazon has created a new adaptation of the novel "Carrie" ? and viewers are extremely satisfied.

    ? The series is noted for its story, which resembles a mix of "Pretty Little Liars" and "Riverdale," as well as the abundance of intense scenes.

    ? Special praise goes to Summer H. Howell for her performance as Carrie. Her emotions are believable, and it's easy to empathize with the main character.

    ? The story takes place in the present day: Carrie is bullied at school, but then she discovers telekinetic abilities and decides to take revenge.

    The first season will be released in its entirety on October 7th.

    I'll check it out, though "satisfied" sounds a bit meh. Then again, I
    suppose the story *is* about high-octane satisfaction...
