I watched the first episode of CARRIE on the Primes. Not a bad adaptation. They've introduced a new subplot, not found in King's novel, about a secret group of psychics who can detect Carrie when she uses her powers and is trying to locate her.

Yeah, you'd kind of have to introduce something new, since
everyone already knows the main plot.

Didn't the TV version with Angela Bettis have something similar?... It
was either this, or like an "X-Files" gov't agency angle?

What did you watch?
ETERNALLY YOURS
So there?s a bunch of vampires. It all seemed to me like a lame rip off of GHOSTS and I was not surprised it?s from the same people.
supposed to be funny,
They have kids, but I?m not sure if they breed or recruit or what.
have twins, one with powers one without, exactly like Superman and Lois.
One and done.
PRIVATE EYES (West Coast)
I watched episode one which is only fair since they?re watching me.
SPOILERS.
For the new format
So two years has passed since the series finale, which ended with a cliffhanger that they were going to maybe get together romantically.
Now, two years later, they moved to the West Coast to take care of a previously, unseen, half brother who is recovering from some sort of injury and decided to stay, which makes no real sense since only one of them is related to him. Also, they got married and she dropped a kid. And they?ve apparently been unemployed this whole time since they don?t have a private eyes license anymore. Basically all they did was dump the entire supporting cast.
Shade?s father is dead. (I looked it up, and the actor is still working).
No mention that I noticed of the ex-wife or his kid. They picked up a new private eye license and a small supporting cast, including the stereotype, female police detective who doesn?t trust them and the deadbeat, half
brother they moved to take care of who?s always running a scam and a pretty would be private eye who is a super computer with. Absolutely nothing we haven?t seen before and better.
The C dub must die.
I was able to find a bootleg of the season opener of NCIS although it was minus the credits and subtitles and the audio had descriptive description describing. Pretty much standard fare other than Tony being the new
director without him agreeing to it.

The movie had a lot of stuff that made little sense, like the motivation
for embarassing Carrie by using Vinnie. Vinnie was both a good kid and
an asshole who had no reason to go along.
In my opinion, Piper Laurie made the movie, plus 1970s glorious nudity.
Any stunt casting from Vinnie in the tv series?
