If she is Ai, then great!
If she is a real human girl, then a bummer.
a ripoff
Is she real or is she Ai?
Real. This was meant to be tongue in cheek.
This is a post for Steve to study carefully. If he reflects on it for a
day or two he may approach an understanding of why posts that have absolutely nothing to say about English usage and just attract trolls are not welcome
at alt.usage.english, whereas ones cross-posted from alt.books, rec.arts.books or alt.literature that lead to useful discussion of English writing are perfectly acceptable, welcome, even. I don't think I've ever had a hissy-fit, to use his charming expression, over the latter, but if he thinks otherwise
he can cite an example. As for the former, sci.physics.relativity does have some same people, such as Jan, but is mostly frequented by nutters. It may occasionally have some relevance to English usage, but this is not such an occasion. I don't think I'm the only person here who dislikes troll-attracting posts, and my impression is that others have expressed their feelings strongly.
As for cross-posts from alt.fan.rush-limbaugh (and other junk groups) one doesn't need to look at them to know that they're unlikely to have anything worthwhile to say.
In addition, off-topic posts may sometimes be acceptable if clearly marked
OT: in the subject line and if they have genuinely interesting things to say.
