France is really in a world of hurt right now - and it's all
self-inflicted. I don't know how this is going to end. It might come
down to giving the army live ammo and hoping that the protesters will
back down quick if live bullets start coming their way, although I can't picture Macron doing that. He doesn't seem to have any plan at all and
he certainly seems to lack any stomach for standing his ground. We may
see France fall even faster this time than in 1940 when Germany invaded....
