I sure am glad I found rec.radio groups.
I have been using the antenna in WB8DQT's book on weather satellites. I
was gladly using the Zapper 2 (on 2-4 Weather Satellite Handbook).
I have moved to a new apartment and my neighbor keeps calling fish game
and wild life on me about the antenna falling over and hurting a
squirrel. My dipole catches nothing on 2 meters.
Is there another antenna I can use? I was thinking about making a
feed-horn design; I just don't want to go to my house to start brazing
only to get threatened again. Perhaps something less obvious?
