Highlights of Solar and Geomagnetic Activity
    01 - 07 July 2024

Solar activity was at moderate levels for the last week. There were
multiple low level M-class flares. None of which resulted in any
Earthbound CMEs or energetic particle events. The regions on the
    disk were mostly unremarkable.

No proton events were observed at geosynchronous orbit.

The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached
high levels for the first time since 23 Dec 2023. A peak flux of 119
pfu was reached on 03 Jul. Normal to moderate levels were reached on
the rest of the summary days.

Geomagnetic field activity was at quiet to unsettled levels.

Forecast of Solar and Geomagnetic Activity
    08 July - 03 August 2024

Solar activity is expected to be at low to moderate levels
    throughout the period.

No proton events are expected at geosynchronous orbit.

The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit is
expected to be at low to moderate levels.

Geomagnetic field activity is expected to be at unsettled to active
levels on 08, 11 and 14 Jul due to recurrent CH HSS influences.
Mostly quiet conditions are expected on the remaining days, pending
    CME activity.
