    This weekend Kansas is holding their QSO party and a Special Event
    operation.

    QSO party fills the weekend with fun 1x1 call sign spelling contests and
    the challenge of working all 105 counties. Numerous categories are
    sponsored for this fun event.

    Saturday 27 August 2022 9:00AM - 9:00PM CDT
    Sunday 28 August 2022 9:00AM - 3:00PM CD

    Note the 9PM cut off Saturday night.

    Our KQP has been called one of the best thanks to Bob, W0BH putting it together each year.

    Pony Express Special Event Sunday

    Amateur radio will be on public display at the Hollenberg Pony Express Festival near Hanover Kansas, this Sunday, Aug 28th from 10 am to 4 pm.
    One of 26 exhibits representing life in early America, station K0ASA
    will depict an 1860's Telegraph Office, demonstrating Morse code to
    the public. At the same time, we will be on the air as a Kansas QSO
    Party participant (WAS) and as a POTA station (K-9180).

    If you are in the area, stop by and visit, or contact K0ASA on the air.


    We will be around CW and SSB frequencies of 7.045, 7.245, 14.045 &
    14.245 MHz much of the time. Contact k0nk@arrl.net with any questions.
