The Iowa State QSO Party is this coming weekend. It will take place
Saturday, 9am to 9pm Central Time (1400Z Sept. 17 to 0200Z Sept. 18).
The goal is to "encourage contact with Iowa amateur radio stations by
other Iowa hams and hams worldwide."
There are several entry classes. The event will use all the non-WARC
bands from 160 meters through 70 cm. The exchange for Iowa stations is
RST and county. All other US/Canadian stations send RST and
state/province. DX stations will send RST and "DX".
