Important: More on IRCd update

Hi all,
I posted the other day that the Synchronet IRCd will be soon updated with various fixes and enhancements and most importantly, it will now have the ability to block leaf nodes (bulletin boards mostly) from connecting without the new updates.
Digital Man approved the merge request and these updates are now live. At the moment, we're not enforcing the update but we will eventually, but will give plenty of notice.
It's highly advisable to update your Synchronet software if you run the Synchronet IRCd and connect to the Synchronet IRCd Network. If you don't, or no longer wish to, you don't have to upgrade. It's highly recommended due to the large number of overall bug fixes and enhancements across the whole software platform.
You're also welcome to convert your ircd.conf to the new ircd.ini format. You can use jsexec ircdcfg.js or try out the ircd converter jsexec ircd_conf2ini.js that can be found in your sbbs/exec directory.
