    Hey August!

I took the liberty of writing a simple bash script that uses busybox's 'stty' and 'expand' to recreate the output of busybox so that it's output is restricted to 72 charater width suitable for typical fidonet quoting. It seems to be working at this end.

    ----- Output of DOS-think.sh starts
    BusyBox v1.38.0 (2026-10-09 00:54:41 UTC) multi-call binary.
BusyBox is copyrighted by many authors between 1998-2015.
Licensed under GPLv2. See source distribution for detailed
    copyright notices.

    Usage: busybox [function [arguments]...]
    or: busybox --list[-full]
    or: busybox --show SCRIPT
    or: busybox --install [-s] [DIR]
    or: function [arguments]...

BusyBox is a multi-call binary that combines many common Unix
utilities into a single executable. Most people will create a
link to busybox for each function they wish to use and BusyBox
will act like whatever it was invoked as.

    Hey August!

You are correct. I was sure that it did. It does have 'expand' so I am half way there.

I'll see what I can figure out as a replacement later. As per usual, back to the drawing board. :::sigh:::

    Hey August!

    My busybox doesn't have stty.

I just did some poking around and found this screenshot; https://frippery.org/busybox/busybox.png

I see stty listed under "Currently defined functions" ;-)

Given that I'd imagine that busybox-w32-FRP-6075-g169694ebd.exe is worth a looksee. Not having a windows box here to check it out with I cannot confirm that this is so, but if it is true then I can say it is worthwhile upgrading.
