Not to get into yet another genAI discussion, but I find that I have usages that I think are net positive, and usages I detest. And I'm curious where I'd fall on this one.

Why? I've had a look at it, and it actually looks pretty cool..
Can you summarize what it can do?
From reading the GitHub page about it, it looks like a message forum software package (written in PHP) that connects to FidoNet-style
message networks and provides a web interface, and has an old-school
theme to look similar to ANSI that you'd see on a BBS. And it looks
like they recently added telnet capabilities to it so that users can telnet in.

It does not compose messages. It's used for summarization and chat bots only.
