Does anyone have a keygen or key or registration code for an old BBS door game called BarWorld by Glenn Sutton? I have tried to find him but no luc so far. I would love to register this game. There are five of us on my BB that play it and we cannot get past level 5 until it is registered. Does anyone know how to reach Mr. Sutton? Thank you very much and have a great weekend all.

I've just had a nice chat with Glenn Sutton and we talked about some of his other games. He's going to see if he can find the source code disks and put a version with the registration check removed.

He said that he's also happy for someone to create a keygen if they want to no issues with that should anyone come up with one.

Not sure that helps much, but I told him that I would be happy to host the n files on my BBS if he can fix the source.

    Thanks,
    Nigel
I got it 'registered' We can finish all levels now. It is a fun game. Have a great day Nigel.

Heha, classic. Whenever I've had a few spare minutes (so not often) I've been poking at it in a disassembler. It has been ~30 years since I last touched x86 assembly, and I wasn't very good at it then. It has been interesting even if I didn't get to the bottom of how the keys work (yet).

Out of interest does anyone know the original language? Compiled QBasic maybe?

I have worked with BASIC, COBOL, and I understand some Javascripting. I think a lot of doors where created with PASCAL and Qbasic. How are you today? I had to block a range of ips that were attacking my BBS ports. I hope you can still get into my BBS I have been studying IP Blocking and like a child learning to write....its not pretty. I think I got the bad guys blocked but hopefully none of the good guys. LOL. I have been going through the user log here and it gives me the registered users ip so I have made exceptions for some of the registered ones.I think I got Wales set up right. Have a good day Bob. Let me know if I accidentally blocked you when you get some time.
