I am thinking about burning a crapload of Delta Sky Pesos so I can visit Auckland NZ. Is there enough stuff to do for 7 or 8 nights?

February 17-25, so it would theoretically be mid-summer.

There's plenty to see in NZ in general, but our cities are pretty average. If you plan on renting a car, you'll have plenty to go and see, there are lots of nice beaches nearby(ish) in the coromandel peninsula and elsewhere, lots of nice nature walks that you should be able to find with a bit of googling...

But the cities are generally meh.

It's not theoretical as NZ is quite below the equator.

I hear the lakes and mountains are a pretty good sight.
