Hey all, Just wondering is anyone knows the status of a pair of QWK networks that I've had for some time that I can no longer connect to:

MusicalNet and GAMEnet

Would also like to reestablish my connections with:
Retronet
FSXnet
Cybernet
DixieNet

I'm already reconnected and passing traffic with SFNet. Still debating on going back to Fido or not.

Head over to https://clrghouz.bbs.dege.au and I'll get you on FSX.

Create your user account and BBS (if it isnt already there), and let me know when you are done and I'll assign you a node and give you the next steps.

You can head back to the site, configure your passwords and you should be good to go.

I'm making the connections, but even though I told Areafix to subscribe me to all of the echo's there's not really any traffic coming in. Same goes for both Retro and Fido.

Hey Deon, when I try to subscribe to Fido echo's I get this response:

"No echoareas available for this system. AKA address security doesnt permit
any echoareas."

What does this mean?

I got this taken care of by subscribing through the web portal, which is amazingly slow.

Your packets with the areafix were rejected:

Your packets from your FSXnet address were addressed to a zone 3 address - and FSXnet doesnt have zone 3.

(Clrghouz is a 5D mailer, and the domain fsxnet was assumed from the from address of the packet.)

I've implemented an alert netmail that should come back to you to let you know that - instead of getting nothing :) That'll be in place later today when the DB conversion complete.

Oh, and I've only set you up for fsxnet - clrghouz will show the other networks because you are advertising addresses for those networks... I can also feed mail to you for those other networks, but some ZCs are fussy about that, so I'd need to check first... Let me know if you are after that...

The only other one that I'm using other than what is available on the Clearing Houz is my SFnet, and I'm connecting directly to the main host for that one.
