So - I've been heavily using Claude Code, remote-control and Opus 4.6 for a quickee one month Pro Plan website project; its been really good and after I test the website for security, I think its gonna make a debut here in another 10 days or so... in fact, Sonnet 4.6 has been 'good enough' for some thing on this project, too.

I saw a video yesterday where a programmer was showing how Claude Code
works as a plugin for VS Code. Is that how you are using it?

They have a standalone client you can run. I've been using it almost exclusively (vs. claude code on the web) and love it.

I'm using Claude Code in the CLI on a directory that I gave it full access to.

In three weeks (of the $20 Pro Plan) its created a full website w/ animations, a blog, forums, user accounts (Github/Google OAuth logins), a BBS tab w/ fTelnet to connect to 2oFB, a youtube page that pulls all my YT videos, a bio, support page, etc etc.

On week 4 I'm going to put it up publicly and will share it. (Its gonna replace my old techheart.life which is currently still the older Hugo website.)

Its really flipping impressive - next month I literally can't NOT get the $100 Max Plan!! I'm gonna work on code related stuff next month; using various SKILLS.md and agentic (agents) stuff, you can get it proficient at almost any task you desire... I also have Claude plugged into my VS Code sessions.

A skills example, I use Omarchy Linux (arch/hyprland) and the Omarchy.md skill tells it exactly how the developer, and I, have customized hyprland so it knows how to safely add/change stuff in the configs.

Its really awesome IMO... I'm gonna use a Max Plan w/ Openclaw soon too - some of my friends are telling me how powerful that is.

Apparently, if you are not using it as a plug-in to something, then you
are using it as a cli application. That sounds a little daunting but apparently paulie has it figured out. ;)

Its live; techheart.life - I have Google/Github OAuth working correctly, or users can make a standard account w/ email verification.

My old website was a Hugo joint with ONLY blog posts/articles - now theres a TON more... and as mentioned, completely created with (less than) one month of a Claude Code (claude.ai) $20 Pro Plan.

I have a few more small things to do; I may implement a DDIAL chat menu, add some 2oFB statistics to the BBS tab via Mystic MPL creating a file that the website can read and some other small edits...

I've paid $1000 for a vBulletin website with much less functionality. (A long time ago, tho...
