Here's hoping, to be sure. Unfortunately our politicians could well switch
ba if it proves to be too unpopular. One tiny bit of hope is that we do/did
have few places in the province that didn't observe DST prior to our
current chang so maybe, just maybe, we have some voices here already that
can preach the benefits of not changing.

Were those areas First Nations? Just curious as I know here in Arizona they treat it differently than the rest of the state.

Maybe up North, but I don't think so much in the Kootenay areas where they don't change. I don't know the history of the decisions, though.
