I just wanted to address the underlying problem here being, in my opinion, ignorance and whataboutism in a very grotsque sense.

I wish the people, who have been systematically executed and still are, a happy month that they have dedicated to themselves to be loud and protest against this oppression. Then come people, who's existence is not illegal or looked down upon at a biblical level and say "But what about me!" The entire rest of the year is about you. I want you to show me exactly 1 state, nation-state or country that legislated that you'd HAVE to be executed simply for your identity. I want you to show me one where you are imprisoned or chemically castrated for being straight. I want to show me one where you are limited in your ways of living or manipulated by the government by having drugs smuggled into your communities to stop resistance against century-long oppression because you're the wrong color. You may be discriminated against, but you are not as of right now oppressed, socially, or systematically.

Name me one country where it is illegal to be white, straight, and cis.
There is not a single one.
You know what there is loads of?
Countries where it is illegal to be gay, or trans. Often followed by imprisonment or death.

I will get this out of the way and say that I am white, however transgender and otherwise queer. This makes me oppressed, but I will still exploit my privilege of being white to fight for my black sisters, brothers, and siblings. Such as you should utilize/exploit YOUR white, straight, and cisgender privilege (if you are) to speak up against our murder, because you are given a voice, and we are not. First of all, congratulations. Having a 42 year relationship with someone is an excellent achievement and one to be very proud of. Hope you all are together for many years to come.

I have heard a couple of older, transgendered persons say the same thing regarding "the noise"... that a lot of what the movement is doing (and maybe specifically non-LGBTQ+ "allies") is counter productive and only creating a lightning rod that threatens years of progress.

By lobbying in such a way that they change their legal standing in order to gain a legal status you don't believe matches their real status.

In short, if you are in a female waterpolo team, a man can force you to participate in a circus you don't want anything with by legally becoming a female and then joining your team or any other team in your league, for example.

Since this is highly impopular it only works in practice because the force of law is thrown behind it, which makes it even more impopular. To the point the LGBT international eventually dropped the T, which is saying something.
