I've seen that happen when I connect to a BBS that I telnet to from inside my BBS. Not sure if that the issue in your case.

I realized that I did not have web nor ftp downloads enabled and have since implemented those features. Might try again with one of those options.

I've had reports that zmodem 8k doesn't work, (was that from you?) but that regular zmodem works. I've tried it myself using netrunner on my win10 box and downloading with zmodem. No issues with that.

So on my BBS, the protocol chooser is made using one mystic #V# text command, and set in the prompts file. But to do that I had to hardcode the protocol names and associate them with the actual protocol Keys. I wonder if I mixed them up.

I just checked. Nope, they're all matched up.

All I can suggest is try again and try a different protocol?

That was me. A couple of posters suggested that they used just zmodem. That's how I was able to download it.

That was me. A couple of posters suggested that they used just zmodem. Th how I was able to download it.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured out the problem. The zmodem-8k protocol wasn't enabled in the protocol editor even though I had listed it in the vertical menu prompt. It's enabled now. Hopefully this is an end to this issue.
