Two linux door game issues

Hey all .. I'm trying to install two remake door games, Kannons and Katapults, and Usurper, using the linux binaries posted for download. I'm running mystic and am having a heck of a time getting them to run correctly ...
Kannons and Katapults has a command line suggestion (for linux/mystic) as /mystic/doors/knk -D%3, using door32.sys (menu option D3) .. this does not work, nor does creating a .sh script pointing to the temp diretory .. Locally the game works fine so I know it's got to be a command line issue; anyone successful at getting this to run that might be able to help a guy out?
As for Usurper, it appears the game is not outputting CP437 as the ANSI is just garbled, otherwise the game plays fine. If someone knows of the fix for this, I'm all eyes/ears!
