• FSX on IRC

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but here goes nothing.

Does FSXNET have an official IRC server? If so, could someone share the address with me?

    Howdy,

Does FSXNET have an official IRC server? If so, could someone share the address with me?

    Official, no.

I think some folks jump onto MRC. Other folks who run synchronet are probably already part of Sync's IRC's setup.

There's an MRC client for Synchronet as well as Mystic now. Might be fun
to make a #FSX channel on MRC, but I don't know how it handles multiple
rooms. Now, it's mostly just conversations in #lobby.

The Synchronet MRC client handles rooms just fine. You can /join any room that's available (list them by typing /rooms) or it will create one if it doesn't already exist.

I've been using my own room a lot lately for testing some modifications I've been working on. I submit a merge request on the Synchronet Gitlab page once I'm satisfied with how everything working and looking.

I would agree :-) I have a persistent connection to synchronet's irc and daily login to MRC, and now am also checking DDIAL daily.

I'll look out for you. I normally use Amessyroom/amr/kdiwh as handles.
