Can't be bluetooth, my bluetooth stopped working weeks ago... Needs to
support a dongle. I'm looking for something that has a PS layout. I've got
a few wireless controllers, but they're really cheap and in many games
pressing the left or right buttons or triggers appears to hit them multiple times. I'm not looking to spend a lot, but definitely more than the $14 I spent on 2... Not as much as my wired logitech controllers, though. I'm
just tired of being tethered to the PC for good controller support.


Any suggestions are welcome! Sorry, the X-Box controller layout won't work
for me. I have enough problems using this type of controller with my tremors and lack of reflexes.

You can take any newer PS4/PS5/XBOX controller and connect to your PC. They also sell PC controllers through STEAM that look like XBOX, but are PC only.

Bluetooth or USB .. I didn't realize it when I purchased a PC only controller - found out after that my PS4/PS5/XBOX controllers all work as well :(

There are a lot of game controllers in the market. I've even seen some 3rd-party USB game controllers that are modeled after NES, SNES, and Playstation controllers, with varying quality.

A couple years ago, I bought an 8BitDo SN30 Pro game controller, primarily to use for emulated games on my Nvidia Shield Pro. Their controllers cost a bit more than the cheaper no-name ones, but I'm pretty impressed with it. It feels good and high-quality, and the buttons respond well. In addition to being bluetooth, I think it can also be used as a wired controller via USB. 8BitDo has a lot of other options too.
