Lost me when I had to wait 5 minutes for the shaders to load. Sorry, I'm not putting up with that. As far as I know, I'd have to put up with that each
time I played the game. I didn't put up with that with Harry Potter, I'm not putting up with that now. I only play games for about 10 minutes at a time, before I get bored so that would seriously cut into my play time.

Well, gotta say I really like her books and movies... :)

Actually, her attempt at having the series grow alongside the fans fell a bit flat with me.

When I was a kid and I read the early Harry Potter books, I found them to be adequate juvenile literature. Then Rowling decided to try having the series become mature at the same pace as its fans and ended up turning it into a something too similar to the urban fantasy flicks for young adults that cram shelves in book stores.

Lots of people love the result. I think it was quite meh.

I guess it made sense that they would grow older, isn't each book the next year at hogwarts? if she kept them all the same age, they would have to have a lot of adventures in a short space of time.

I don't think it was meant as an attempt to grow with the fanbase, rather just people growing up in general. Not all fans were kids when they read the first harry potter books or saw the movies.

Although I don't agree with her politics, or think her stories are particularly ground breaking masterworks, I did enjoy them, and she did get a lot of kids at that generation reading books instead of watching TV. :)
