    I haven't used internet with dosbox, but I imagine there may be a way. I know there's a way to emulate a modem to go over telnet with DOSBox..

    Yes, some builds of DOSBOX include NE2000 network card emulation. It's fiddly, but it works with Crynwyr packet drivers and others. I've gotten the MTCP apps running that way.

    You can also redirect a comm port to a TCP port -- redirect COM1 to TCP 23, open up a terminal program and dial using ATDT, then the hostname or IP address and you're connected.

    i'm pretty sure you can install mTCP under dosbox.

    but you can use a com port for telnet for example in dosbox.conf:

    [serial]
    serial1=modem listenport:2323

    then you can use your fav' terminal program for bbsing :)

    Yea, various ways. DOSBOX-Staging has extra modem entries for the dosbox.conf... and one COULD install other [mTCP] tools if desired.
