My wife and I enjoyed Season 1 of Silo (on Apple TV) -- enough to read the
book series together. It's downright grim at times, but offers enough to
root for and provokes some thoughts...

I hadn't heard of Silo, it looks interesting thanks for mentioning it. From search results it looks there's a season 2 to look forward to also - great news.

wow, I've read all the books in the past and really liked it a lot.
Might be cool to see how they filmed it.

Anyway, books are books -- Your imagination shapes the look/feel of the silos.

The Silo saga is really cool reading. Caught me so much -- I had it as audio books and listened to it while driving to work, before sleep, whenever there was a spare time.

Would love to find some similar saga.

"Red Rising" Series by Pierce Brown
Books: "Red Rising," "Golden Son," "Morning Star," "Iron
    Gold," and "Dark Age"

I've already read those Red Rising books you mentioned =).
It's my favorite saga (I like the twists in the story there).
"Light Bringer" - next book from this saga came out last year - I've got it in my library as the next book to read :-).

I'm still waiting for season 2 to air. The last episode of season 1 was a cliffhanger.
