    Well I started watching this the other night, just one episode in so far.

    looks like eight episodes in total and there's a couple more I could watch at the time of writing this.

    From the point of view of a story set in a different time period in the Star Wars universe and with some new characters etc.. it's good.

    From the point of view of 'is this story going anywhere really' and 'will it be somewhat formulaic?' ... I'm not so sure.

    Will report back after a few more episodes.

    There are some shows where the community has different opinions about it. Acolyte isn't one of these. I can only recommend ppl who like it not reading about it :).

    From my pov it's not as bad as it is made. My highlight is that the force is male after all :).

    And I think it is in best star wars tradition. They're always doing it. So not much to complain about. I think it's best just ignoring it.
    (There isn't much point about discussing Acolyte IMO).
